Dr. Hegg is a well respected and experienced Board Certified Plastic Surgeon with office and AAAASF certified surgical facility in San Leandro, California. Dr. Hegg has over 25 years of experience performing all types of plastic surgery and has a special interest in cosmetic surgery of the face, nose and eyelids, breasts and body including body sculpture, abdominoplasty, and post-weight loss skin tightening procedures.  He is listed as one of the Top Plastic Surgeons in America by the Consumer Research Council of America. Dr. Hegg is a member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery, California Society of Plastic Surgeons, American Medical Association, California Medical Association and the Alameda/Contra Costa Medical Association. He graduated with a degree in Molecular Biology and Biophysics from Yale, a master's degree in Medical Science from Rutgers and earned his MD degree from Harvard Medical School, where he graduated with cum laude honors and was selected for membership in the prestigious honors fraternity, Alpha Omega Alpha. He received his surgical and plastic surgical training at Stanford before beginning private practice in the East Bay.
